Balloon Race Live is a live slot. Actually, it’s also a live game show, but more precisely, it’s a live dealer game with slot and game show elements. For starters, it’s important to understand that gameplay splits into three parts. The first part or stage is the Qualification Phase, in which you spin the slot reels to try to qualify for the Bonus Round. Once you successfully do that, you get into the Top-up Phase where you can increase your bonus round’s potential payout. The Bonus Round is the third and final phase of the round. In the Bonus Round, you watch the host draw balls from a ball machine (similar to bingo) and hot air ballons racing towards the finish line. Four finish lines exist, each with a unique payout. The line on which the first ballon arrives at is the winning payout.

In the Qualification Phase, you first face a 5×3 grid slot with 10 fixed paylines. Game icons include standard slot symbols – card royals, two ribbons (Silver and Bronze), as well as Scatters and Expanded Wilds. Land 3 Scatters or Wilds on a payline and you get to the bonus round (and Top-up Phase).

Beware of the variance. It’s high, while RTP remains at 96.09%. Another thing you should know is that you have three Spin modes in the first phase – the normal spin, where the maximum Multipliers are around 30x; a XXXtreme Spin where you can get a guaranteed Wild/Scatter and bigger Multipliers; and Super XXXtreme Spins with 2 guaranteed Wilds/Scatters and even bigger Multipliers. Multipliers come attached to Wilds and can be collected in the first phase, saved for the final phase where they are paid out alongside the main payout.

Balloon Race Live has a betting range that starts with $0.10 per spin. On the other hand, the highest possible bet in the game is $2,500 per stake.

To play the game, you need to play the slot in the first phase. The slot has standard paying icons that start with 10, J, Q, K, and A, then proceed to the bronze and silver ribbons. Icons in the slot pay from 1x to 15x for 5 OAK.

Winning potential is hard to determine given that you collect Multipliers for the Bonus round as you go. Multipliers appear in the first two phases, and you collect them until it’s time to enter the Bonus Round, which is the focus of the game. All we can tell you right now is that the Multipliers can potentially exceed 500x.

Ultimately, the game has a default RTP for the slot of 96.09% – that is for the normal spin mode. The other two , XXXtreme and Super XXXtreme have 96% and 96.03%, respectively. Finally, the RTP for the Top-up phase is 96.05%.

The best part of the game is the Bonus round, but before you get to the Bonus round, you must pass through the Top-up phase.

Qualifying ends when you land 3 Scatters or Wilds. Then you move onto the Top-up Phase, where you get a TOP UP button and tap it. This will release 3-6 ballons into the air, with four finish lines at the top. Four different colors of ballons exist – each color should arrive to its corresponding finish line for it to count. Many ballons pop along the way, and only a few reach their destination. Those that do, their values (each ballon carries a Multiplier) are added together to create a total Multiplier value, which will be used in the Bonus round.

Now, the Bonus round is a live dealer section, where you have a live host leading the game. In the Bonus round, you are transferred into a new screen where the host stands beside a ball drawing machine. Inside the machine are four different colors of balls. The host draws balls, and whichever color is drawn, a corresponding ballon goes up 1 position – there are 4 ballons, each racing towards its finish line. This is RNG, but the balls and the host are real.

With each draw, the ballons move up by 1 position. It takes 5 moves (meaning, 5 draws) for a ballon to reach its finish line. The first ballon to reach the finish line is the winning one, and its payout, which you can see atop the finish line, is paid out to the players.

When this part of the round ends, the entire round is finished and you return to the first phase – the Qualification phase – to start anew.
