When it comes to naming a selection of gaming companies many names immediately spring to mind, with Ladbrokes, William Hill, Inter Casino, Grand Parker Casino and 32Red being five of the more popular brands known to man. One name that many people may not have heard of is Praesepe, a relatively small company that specialises in low stakes gaming in the United Kingdom. Today Praesepe are in the news again as they have announced a deal with Olympic Gold Medallist Jade Jones, a deal that will run up to the next Olympics in Brazil in 2016.
Praesepe were only formed in 2007, but already they have well over 170 venues dotted around the country. With the addition of Taekwondo star Jade Jones, 20, the CEO of Praesepe Nick Harding is hoping that his company will grow even bigger in the years to come. Speaking about the signing of Jones to his team he said, “After the London Olympics we decided to get involved and help an athlete in the lead up to Rio 2016 and after considering a number of potential partners we saw Jade and thought she’d be the perfect fit. She’s an inspiration not just for our customers’, who will really take to her fantastic personality, but also to our staff.”
Jones was indeed an inspiration to many people last year as she beat all comers to claim the gold medal at the London Olympics. Harding is hopeful that he and his team can learn a lot from Jones and her attitude towards her sport. He said, “I think we can learn so much from athletes such as Jade whose success is based on dedication, the maintenance of supremely high standards and a ‘can do’ attitude which has taken her to the very top of her chosen sport at a very young age.”
Harding finished off by saying, “As well as fitting in personal appearances alongside her training schedule, Jade will be holding some motivational sessions with staff explaining exactly what it takes to get to the top and win gold. We are all looking forward to developing our relationship with Jade and helping her to further success in Rio!”
It sounds like the Praesepe and Jade Jones sponsorship deal is going to be a huge success, and if Nick Harding and his staff can learn what it takes to win gold from a proven winner the Praesepe brand is only going to grow and grow in the coming years, and who knows in years to come it could become a household name in the world of gaming and online gaming.
