At this time of year online gaming companies announce details of their accounts from the third quarter of the year, and the latest to do so is the online casino game provider Net Entertainment who have reported an increase of 25%.
For the third quarter of the year, which ran until the end of September, Net Entertainment posted an overall revenue of SEK153.1 million, which is roughly $24million. When those figures are added to the previous two quarters they make for impressive reading as for the first nine months of 2013 they stand at SEK450.6 million, which is an overall increase of 18% compared to the same period as last year. Net Entertainments overall operating profit for the latest quarter stands at SEK44.5 million, while their after tax profit was announced at SEK39.4 million.
The Chief Executive Officer at Net Entertainment is Per Eriksson and he had the following to say about his companies latest set of accounts. He said, “Revenues showed positive development compared to last year, which primarily was a result of good underlying growth with our existing customer base in combination with the addition of 22 new customers that have been signed in the last 12 months. Net Entertainment has year after year showed proof of the Company’s ability to generate good results for our partners, which has led to an increased demand for our products. This, in combination with a high commitment throughout the entire organisation, has led to several new agreements with some of the largest operators in Great Britain. I am excited about what the market in Great Britain can generate for Net Entertainment in the future when all operators are fully launched.”
Some of those new agreements Mr Eriksson is talking about include deals with Ladbrokes and William Hill, not to mention the nine new customer facing casinos that have been launched during the last few months. In all during 2013 Net Entertainment has agreed 17 new licence agreements and launched a total of 14 new casinos, all of which have made 2013 a great success. If things continue in the same vein over the next three months 2013 will be a record breaking year for everyone concerned with Net Entertainment.
