In a little over a weeks time on Tuesday 26th November the American state of New Jersey will be allowing real money online gaming, and the latest company to be grated a transactional waiver is Betfair.
Betfair currently have in the region of four million customers and are well known for their exchange style betting, but their online casino and poker platforms are also generating plenty of interest as well. The New Jersey Division of Gaming Enforcement have granted the company a transactional waiver that allows them to launch their Casino platform next week, and under the terms of the waiver they can operate in full while the Gaming Enforcement looks over their application for a full licence.
Paul La Fontaine is the Managing Director of Gaming at Betfair and he had this to say about the transactional waiver being granted to his company. He simply said, “We’re pleased to be one of the pioneers bringing online casino games to the state of New Jersey.”
Betfair must have been confident of gaining a licence because they recently launched a trial site LET'SPLAYNJ.COM, a site where players could register their interest and participate in an exclusive preview of their online casino, with one lucky punter winning a VIP trip for two to either London or Hawaii complete with $1,000 spending money.
If you are in the state of New Jersey there is still time to register your interest, and who knows you could be the lucky winner of their free offer and the next big winner on their online casino.
