Craps are a game that have been around for as long as we can remember. No casino is complete without at least one table where players can try their luck with the dice! Unfortunately, the online space has not been as kind to this release. That did not stop Playtech from giving it their all with this game!

This release uses a random number generator to determine dice throws and their results. It guarantees a fair experience! The animations are done quite nicely, though there is no way to speed them up. Craps is easy to play and bet on thanks to the gorgeous user interface.

Before you can play the game, you need to set your wagers.

This is done by selecting one of the coin values, and placing them on the wagers you want to play. This is a single-player experience, so there is no timer rushing you to go faster. After you finish betting, click or tap the Roll button. This will cause the dice to shoot out and start the round!

If you played the Pass Bet, you will win if a 7 or 11 is drawn and lose if a 2, 3 or 12 is drawn. The opposite is true for Do Not Pass wagers. If the dice reveal a different number, that number will be stored as a point. You win if the point number is rolled again before a seven appears! If a seven is drawn before the point number is drawn, you will lose that round.

Off to the side, you will see a number of proposition bets. To win these wagers, you need the dice to show a certain number or a specific combination of dice. The rarer a combination is, the more money it will award when it is won.

In most casinos we have played, Playtech’s Craps have a set range of bets. It starts on the low side with as little as $0.01 per round, and goes up to $300 per round. This is the advantage of playing the RNG table compared to its live casino counterpart. The cost is much lower, which suits casual players.

We really like how the table is broken down in this game. All the main bets are on the left-hand side, allowing newer players to focus on them. Meanwhile, proposition bets are on the right side, allowing you to get to them when you are ready. The highest payout is 31:1 for rolling a pair of ones or a pair of sixes.

The developers added a highlight when you hover over a certain wager. This gives you a clear indicator of what bet you are going to play. We also liked how Playtech highlights point numbers.
