The world was a different place back in the 1970s. We think it had something to do with the fact you had a whole generation grow up with the idea the world could end at any time thanks to nuclear war and wipe away any proof of the silliness that they wrought upon the world. Long hair often shaped in the oddest ways, a fashion sense that seemed based on replicating a glowing neon sign and both the curse and blessing of being without the internet to forever document them for the future amusement of their children and grandchildren.

When Grease came out, the movie was insanely popular, and it’s fair to say a lot of modern romance movie tropes may have sourced their way from this classic movie. So it’s only fair for that movie to receive the highest honour it can get, at least, according to us. And that’s a slot tie-in to the movie! The slot is based in the familiar setting of the diner from the movie, which provides a very iconic look that will make anyone who watched the flick feel right at home. You have playing card symbols J, Q, K and A as covers on top phonograph records, the shiny car and milkshake, the two rival love interests from the movie, and, of course, Danny and Sandy, both as separate symbols, and as a single joint one. Speaking of which, if Danny or Sandy symbol cover the first reel entirely, they lock all their symbols in place for three re-spins and the joint Danny & Sandy symbol counts too.

However, if the joint Danny & Sandy symbol locks the reel in that way, all separate Danny and Sandy icons will transform into the joint one for the duration of the re-spins. At any random point, Sweetheart Wilds can occur, which creates up to eight Wilds on the playing field. Collecting three Scatters on the first, third and fifth reel at the same time can reward three different free spins bonuses. The first one rewards 12 free spins which only has Wilds and high paying symbols and as an added bonus, all Danny and Sandy symbols become the joint Danny & Sandy icon.
