Swedish gambling company and provider of online casino and sports betting services, LeoVeas, has announced it has named Caroline Palm the new Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO).
This is an important move for the company itself, with Palm being the first person to have ever been appointed to this executive position at LeoVegas. Palm has a vast experience in this area, having previously worked for the Swedish investment management and technology service firm Serendipity Group AB, where she served as the company's Head of HR from 2013 to 2017.
Exciting Times Ahead
Palm will commence her role at the company in February and will have a key position in LeoVegas' recruitment of new staff within its offices located in Malta, Sweden, and the United Kingdom.
Commenting on the appointment of Caroline Palm as the firm's new CHRO, Gustaf Hagman, LeoVegas' Chief Executive Officer said she was a perfect addition to the company's team, and stated she would fit into this new role within the management team.
Hagman emphasized the importance, overall responsibility and strategic mindset about the staff, recruitment and Human Resources, especially in the moment when LeoVegas was close to reaching the number of 600 employees.
A Valuable Addition to the Team
Hagman explained it had also become even more fundamental when LeoVegas had started to expand its business operations by acquiring companies and had offices in different countries and cities. He expressed a strong belief in Caroline's experiences from fast-growing and entrepreneurial companies in the tech sector, and her broad expertise, and said she would definitely be an important part of the LeoVegas' team.
Back in October, LeoVegas purchased RoyalPanda.com, a Maltese online casino and betting operator licensed in Malta and the United Kingdom, in a transaction worth €60 million. After the successful completion of the acquisition, RoyalPanda.com will be fully integrated into LeoVegas' online gambling portfolio.
The company is also focused on developing new technologies, which is the sole responsibility of LeoVenture, recently launched innovation and investment arm of LeoVegas, lead by one of the founders of the Stockholm-listed firm, Robin Ramm-Ericson.
