Asian online gaming operator TLC188.com have today announced an extension to their current deal with English Premier League side Sunderland, a deal that will last until the end of the 2016-17 season.
TLC188.com and Sunderland first joined forces at the beginning of the 2012 football season in England and now their current agreement will run for another three seasons at least. Under the terms of the agreement fans of Sunderland will be able to take advantage of a number of betting and online gaming opportunities with TLC188.com, with Sunderland taking part in the Asia Trophy pre-season tournament in Hong Kong.
Speaking earlier today Sunderland Commercial Director Gary Hutchinson had this to say regarding the extension of the deal. He said, “We are really pleased to extend a strong partnership and we look forward to exploring new areas of innovation with TLC188 and Sunderland in the future. We are continuing to build on our relationships throughout Asia and the club is becoming very popular with a growing worldwide fan base, which we have seen in recent years.”
Asia-Pacific Strategy Director for TLC188.com Mike Chong had this to say in response to the comments made by Gary Hutchinson. He said, “Excitement for Premier League football teams such as Sunderland has grown fast in Asia since we signed our original contract and with frequent promotions, we expect to grow both TLC188 and Sunderland’s international fan bases.”
Football is hugely popular in Asia and Sunderland are just one of a number of high profile Premier League Clubs who have links with the far east, and coupled with betting and online gaming it appears as though TLC188.com are on to a winner with the announcement of their new deal today.
