Following the successful path of their earlier oriental themed games, Microgaming has launched a new Asia related slot, with jungle background, suitable sound effects and recognizable characters known from this game’s predecessors. It is not however a sequel but the company’s latest addition to their Far East centred game base and will certainly appeal to the fans of Untamed Giant Panda and Untamed Bengal Tiger who are making a comeback in Wild Orient Slot.

The game has five reels, three rows and possible 243 winning combinations with an additional twist – instead of the standard pay line structure, Wild Orient Slot comes with the system where at least 2 or 3 matching symbols on any of the five reels, starting from the left, are considered to be a winning streak. An added value to this game is a possibility of a re-spin of any individual reel after a spin, creating a decent payout potential and contributing to the overall appeal of the game.

Unlike the game’s pay line system, the betting options are pretty conventional, ranging from the minimum bet of $0.25 to $125 max bet. Starting with reel one, from left to right, the game will accumulate wins from each payline to a final sum, which can go as high as $60,000, with options such as Auto Play and Max Bet also supported.

Inspired mainly by the wild life of Asia, the symbols are represented by animals as well as letters and numbers, latter being the lower value symbols (numbers 9,10 and letters J, K, Q and A) while higher value symbols are elephant, panda, monkey and a bird. The Wild symbol is the game’s logo and it can be activated on reels two and four, replacing all symbols but the scatter, represented in this case by the stone carved animal image. This Animal Statue Scatter can pleasantly surprise you on any reel, especially because it only takes two to win and three to earn extra spins.

The game also comes with Free Spins and Respin features. To activate the Free Spins feature, you will need to land at least three of the scatters literally anywhere, which will award you with 15 free rounds that can be re-triggered and added to the remaining number of spins if you get the animal scatters. The best part – any wins during these spins will be tripled. PANDAastic! As for the Respin feature, it offers you an option of re-spinning any of the reels you selected, increasing the odds of hitting a winning symbol. Since this is of course a perk that comes at a cost, it will not be available in Auto Play mode or during the Free Spins bonus. The good news is that Wild Orient is available on mobile as well.
