Iron Girl Slots
The galaxy is a large and dangerous place. The vast distance between planets means that law enforcement usually cannot act, and unable to chase after criminals once they escape the planet’s orbit. The smartest of villains use this to their advantage, hiding in open space to evade justice. The only hope for the galaxy is Iron Girl, whose suit allows her to set off among the stars, and bring these criminals to justice. The slot is played on a 5x3 playing field with 20 fixed paylines. The game’s bonuses include re-spins, sticky symbols, progressive multipliers and randomly added Wilds.
How to PlayThe upbeat tune succeeds in setting the tone for a sci-fi universe just waiting for you to grab your jetpack and go exploring. The background image is the vast emptiness of space, populated only by distant stars, which makes for a great view. However, what really won us over were the fantastic animations when you first boot the title, and when Iron Girl appears to place the Wilds on the playing field. We did have an annoying visual bug where she would not disappear from the screen, forcing us to reload the slot to get rid of her. The standard user interface you see in all Play’n Go releases is used. Iron Girl is played on a standard 5x3 playing field, with pays which are awarded by collecting three or more identical symbols from left to right, going through one of the twenty fixed paylines. The game has a chance of adding five extra Wilds to the playing field at any given time. Other bonuses are triggered by the four highest paying symbols forming winning combinations.
Betting Options and PayoutPlayers can set their wagers between $0.20 up to $100 per spin, and that is a decent betting spread for both casual gamblers and high rollers. The title has medium volatility with an RTP of 96%, which is average compared to other Play’n Go releases. The maximum win is worth 1,000x your total stake.
Symbols and Extra FeaturesSymbols include futuristic versions of the club, diamond, heart and spade card icons, as well as the four most wanted criminals in the galaxy. The pink-haired girl is Wild and can substitute for all symbols. When one of the four villain icons forms a win, said villains become sticky, and a re-spin is played. If an additional villain or Wild symbol appeared that extends the winning combination, another re-spin will be granted. This continues until no new villain or Wild icons land, or the whole reel is filled with a single symbol. Depending on how many sticky villains you get, you will receive additional goodies. For eight sticky villains, you get two randomly placed Wilds on the playing field, while 10, 12 or 14 sticky villains rewards you with a 2x, 3x or 4x multiplier to the final re-spins total win. Finally, Iron Girl can randomly fly in front of the reels, and create up to five randomly placed Wilds.
Our VerdictWhile our personal preference goes to higher variance slots, we were quite impressed with the Play’n Go offering. With gorgeous graphics, smooth animations, fun gameplay and a juicy jackpot, it has all the elements to succeed.
