Wonderland Lucky Ball

Playtech’s Wonderland universe has been expanded! It’s one of the most recognizable live dealer game show universes of all time, with Adventures Beyond Wonderland as one of the most famous live game shows of all time. Wonderland Lucky Ball is intended as an heir ot the empire, a new way to expand the universe but not repeat gameplay from the previous games.

Hence, Wonderland Lucky Ball is a bingo live game show, where players join a ball draw where they try to win either payouts or entry to one of three bonus game rounds. The aesthetics are there: the White Rabbit, Cheshire Cat, Walter the Caterpillar, they all appear in the game in one way or another. Walter, for example, appears in the studio right beside the ball machine.

With 60 balls in the machine, 20 are drawn per round. You can either win a classic payout, an elevated payout thanks to the Multipliers, or wait to enter one of the three available bonus game rounds. The game’s RTP is 96.14%, which is solid, but it can dip slightly for the bonus game rounds.

Adventures Beyond Wonderland was a massive hit for Playtech, and it seems Wonderland Lucky Ball will join its predecessor in terms of success after its release.

This is essentially a bingo live game show. In each round, 20 balls are randomly drawn from the ball machine containing 60 numbered balls. Players place chips on any combination of 11 available bet spots: 8 main game cards (classic bingo tickets) and 3 bonus game cards (tickets for the bonus rounds with fewer numbers, just 1 line).

Main game cards are 4×4 grids populated with random numbers from 1 to 60. Whenever you complete a line of 4 on the card (horizontally, vertically, or diagonally) by matching numbers with balls drawn, you will win a payout. That payout can be basic, or elevated by the Lucky Numbers and Bubble Boosts. Bubble Boosts are regular multipliers, while Lucky Numbers unlock bonus rounds.

Each round consists of the same elements (more or less):

• Betting phase, during which players place chips on the betting positions;
• Ball draw phase, when the host announces 20 balls drawn from the machine;
• Payouts or bonus round, when you either enter a bonus round or get a payout.

The bonus round is optional, and you might not enter a bonus round in your session. Still, if you do, it will open an RGN game round that, once it’s done, pays out the winnings to winners before transferring you to the main game event once again.

Theme & Design

The studio set connects the ball game with Adventures Beyond Wonderland, since the games are set in the same universe.

There’s a physical ball machine and a live host that narrates the game happening amongst animated Wonderland backdrops and character appearances. The host is framed by tall arched windows and wide landscape scenery, with Caterpillar Walter positioned to the left of the draw machine. Familiar characters including the Cheshire Cat and White Rabbit appear during the round.

Betting on main cards in Wonderland Lucky Ball ranges from $0.10 to $200 per card. Bonus game bets run from $0.10 to $20 per game. A Bet All button covers every spot in one click, so if you want to wager on all positions, you can. You don’t have to, though.

Rebet repeats the previous stake, and an x2 toggle doubles what you wagered.

Main Card Line Payouts

Base payout for a completed 4-number line is 3x the chip amount. Lucky Numbers in the completed line increase the payout:

• Line with 1 Lucky Number — 8x (up to 40x with Bubble Boost)
• Line with 2 Lucky Numbers — 15x (up to 75x with Bubble Boost)
• Line with 3 Lucky Numbers — 25x (up to 125x with Bubble Boost)
• Line with 4 Lucky Numbers — 100x (up to 500x with Bubble Boost)

Bonus Game Payouts

Bonus rounds have fantastic payout caps, too. You can win up to 5,000x by playing them, but that will not be easily done.

• 4Walterspins — 15x to 5,000x

Besides the main ball drawn part of the game, you have two bonus features that can increase how much you stand to gain in the game.

Those are the Bubble Boosts and Lucky Numbers.

Bubble Boosts

Bubble Boosts are randomly generated and assigned to main game cards or bonus game cards after betting closes. Main game cards can receive a 2x, 3x, 4x, or 5x Bubble Boost; bonus game cards can receive 2x, 3x, 4x, 5x, or 8x.

The multiplier applies to any wins on the boosted position for that round. Multiple cards can receive Bubble Boosts in a single round, though a single Bubble Boost per card is the norm.

Lucky Numbers

11 numbers are selected and assigned to the three bonus game cards before the draw. These numbers are simultaneously highlighted on the main game cards. On the main cards, they serve as payout boosters for any line they appear in. On bonus game cards, they are the trigger condition, which means all of a bonus game’s Lucky Numbers must be matched by the draw to activate that game.

Bonus Rounds

The three bonus games are all RNG wheel-spin formats. There’s no interaction from the player, so you just sit and relax, waiting to see how much you’ve won at the end of the round.

There are 3 rounds: 2WonderSpins, 5Wonderspins, and 4Walterspins.

2Wonderspins spins a digital multiplier wheel twice; 5Wonderspins spins it five times; 4Walterspins spins four times. Each spin adds to the accumulated multiplier, which is applied to the bonus game bet when the round concludes. Any bonus game winnings are added to main game card wins for a combined round total.

Wonderland Lucky Ball RTP

All 8 main cards share an RTP of 96.14%, regardless of how many lines or Lucky Numbers are involved. Bonus game RTPs are different for the bonus rounds, though.
