Yes, the mobile-inspired snake mechanic is back with a brand-new territory. The medieval castle and knights that we met in the first game are gone. This time, we are surrounded by robot Slayers, metallic snakes, and an arena lit with icy energy. It’s as far from medieval times as possible, because it feels like we found ourselves in the middle of a sci-fi story.

Compared to its predecessor, Snake Arena 2 offers an expanded list of features, a much bigger payout potential than before. For starters, the debut is a fantasy game set in the medieval times, this is a futuristic game with sci-fi elements. Two different stories, right? Well, the use of features and elements connects the two games so there’s a definite connection between the two releases.

The studio paid a lot of attention to the details, so the game is a very elaborate game with stunning design and complex visuals.

Our Experience Playing Snake Arena 2

Playing Snake Arena 2 reminded us of everything that made the first game memorable,  but it took things further with a lot more chaos and complexity.

First, it’s a completely different theme – this is a sci-fi game happening in the apocalyptic future, not a fantasy-themed game with medieval vibes. Still, somehow it all makes sense. And although I couldn’t tell you exactly how or why, it just does. It’s Relax Gaming, a studio that knows how to make a solid game that’s both visually captivating and with a solid gameplay.

The volatility can spike hard, but that’s part of the thrill. Watching the Snake slither across the arena collecting massive multipliers feels like controlling chaos. The Super versions of both bonus modes take things even further,  but with a spike in potential comes a spike in volatility too.

Keep in mind that the ridiculously high game potential of 50,000x may sound super appealing, but it’s extremely hard to unlock. Be prepared and stick to the budget.
