Before you can start playing and admiring the graphics, you need to place a wager! To do this, click on a coin, and it will be placed automatically on the main bet. To make a side bet, you need to click on its circle, which will place future coins on it. There is no timer, so you can take your time placing bets and making decisions.

With betting out of the way, blackjack begins properly! Two cards are dealt for both the player and dealer. You can see both of your cards, and only the dealer’s first card. At this point, you are asked to hit, stand, split or double. What options are available to you depends on the cards you have drawn.

For both player and dealer, the goal is to get as close as possible to 21 without going over. If either hand exceeds 21, that hand busts, resulting in an automatic loss for that side. Earning a natural 21 with your first two cards results in a blackjack win. If neither of these two things happen, then the hand closest to 21 wins the round.

You can bet anywhere between $1 and $200 on each round. That said, you can only place $100 on the main bet in a single round – the rest can be wagered on the side bet. All wins pay 1:1, with two exceptions. A natural blackjack win earns you a 3:2 reward, while Insurance pays 2:1 when won.

In order to win the Perfect Pair side bet, the player’s first two cards must form a pair. The better matched the two pairs are, the higher the payout. As such, a mixed pair will pay 6:1. If the pair matches in colour, then you get a 12:1 reward. Finally, if both colour and suit match, you get the top prize for the side bet, worth 25:1.
