Moon Princess Stargazing continues the Moon Princess legacy with familiar gameplay and a few notable twists. It’s a sequel to one of the most easily recognizable brands in the Play’n GO universe, so it had big shoes to fill.

Compared to the original 2017 release, Stargazing introduces two new heroines, Nova and Astra. Their purpose is to bring fresh Girl Powers to the grid, and they indeed do. Moon Princess Stargazing is a cluster pay slot, with the entire action taking place on a 5×5 grid. Wins are formed when three or more matching symbols align vertically or horizontally. Once a win occurs, those symbols are removed from the grid.  Then, new symbols cascade downward, but no new ones fall from above. Interestingly, even non-winning symbols of the same type as those in a winning combination are removed, enhancing the cascading potential.

During testing, we found the slot highly volatile but entertaining. The multiplier mechanic felt fair, and Girl Powers triggered just frequently enough to keep the base game engaging. Resonance Spins were the standout, especially when multiple modifiers activated in quick succession. Though we didn’t reach the 10,000x potential, we saw significant swings that showed the game’s capabilities.
