Loose Deuces by RTG

Loose Deuces takes a new approach to a traditional video poker format. It adds a chaotic element to the mixture in the form of a Wild card! The number two can now substitute for any other card present. On top of that, players will be rewarded for creating winning combinations with the newly empowered number two.

A random number generator determines what cards will appear on the playing field. The game is single player, and as a result, has no timers for making decisions. The animations are smooth and fluid. We are a bit disappointed we cannot make them go faster.

Upon first launching this release, you will have to set up the total bet to be to your liking. You do this by changing the bet value in the middle of the screen, and the coin value in the bottom left corner. Adjusting one or both changes the total amount of money you bet on the playing field.

Press or tap Deal to proceed to the next stage. Here, you will be dealt five cards. The goal of each round is to create the best possible poker hand! To help you achieve that, Loose Deuces allows you to keep any card you want. Cards that are not kept will be discarded and replaced by different cards. The number two is now a Wild, and can fill in for any other card when forming winning combinations.

After reshuffling the cards, the game will check for valid five-card poker hands. Only card combinations that appear on the paytable will grant prizes. This means you may have different payouts depending on whether the Wild number two was involved in the winning combination.

How much you earn on each win depends on two factors. First is the strength of your hand. Second is how many coins are currently being played. Unlike standard video poker releases, Loose Deuces’ weakest win is three of a kind. Jacks or Better and Two Pairs are removed, due to the Wild making it incredibly easy to score these wins.

Three of a kind played on one coin is the lowest value win, worth only one coin. A pure royal flush with no Wilds and five active coins will reward you with a 4000 coin payout.

Each win will prompt you to play the Double or Nothing bonus. If you choose to play, the cards you have on will be hidden and reshuffled. One card is revealed to you, and you can pick one of the other four. That chosen card will be kept, while the other three will become brand new cards. All cards are then drawn to be face up. If you win, your prize money doubles!
