Live Lightning Roulette by Evolution Gaming

This is exactly what Evolution Gaming is offering with their latest release, Lightning Roulette. It has a striking presentation which immediately captures your attention! At first glance, you may not see anything new. The black and gold colour scheme looks great, but there’s nothing that betrays any new mechanics. It looks like a standard European Roulette table, with 37 numbers.

You place your bets as you would with any standard roulette game. You have a visible table in front of you. By clicking on the numbers or bets you want to do, you’ll place down coins for that specific combination to be drawn. On the bottom left, you can see your total bet and how much balance you have left.

There’s also a roulette table on the right where you can make bets like Voisins du Zero, Jeu Zero and Orphelins a Cheval. Beneath that table, you’ll also find the Autoplay options. Set the number of rounds, and let the game do all the spinning for you!

Players can stake between $0.20 and $1000 on each spin. Payouts vary drastically depending on whether you’re playing outside or inside bets.

Outside bets are safer but pay less. Wagering 1-18/19-36, Even/Odd or Red/Black will pay 1:1, while Dozen and Column bets pay 2:1. For more detail, take a look at our casino glossary.

Meanwhile, Inside bets are riskier, but pay better. Line rewards 5:1, Corner pays 8:1, while Street earns you 11:1. Split grants a 17:1 payout, but the real money is with Straight Up bets! They can pay a standard 29:1, or can get multiplied. In that case, they can grant a 499:1 payout!

As we already mentioned, the defining feature of Live Lightning Roulette are the multipliers! After you place your bets, the game will select several numbers whose payouts will be boosted. The multiplier can increase it from 50x up to 500x, which is a pretty damn good bet.

Evolution Gaming’s Live Lightning Roulette also gives you four neighbour bets, using the mini-table you can see on the bottom right hand side of the screen. These stakes are usually only available in French Roulette, which is why the names are in French.
