Like in Deuces Wild, Five Hand Joker Poker also contains wild cards and as the name suggests these are the Jokers. This version from Arrow’s Edge is a fast paced game which offers fantastic payouts, especially for Five of a Kind hands. Furthermore, it gives players the opportunity to double their winnings after each hand and it is also possible to win a progressive jackpot at any point while playing.

The game has been well designed to ensure that it is easy to play. First players set the coin size used using the ‘+’ and ‘-’ symbols and then they click on ‘Bet One’ to add one coin bet to each hand. It is possible to quickly bet the maximum five coins per hand (a total of 25 coins) by clicking on ‘Bet Max’. Players then click on ‘Deal’ and the five card hand is dealt. Players then need to click on the cards that they want to hold before clicking on ‘Draw’ to replace the other cards. The five hands are then revealed and players win a payout as long as a hand contains a Pair of Kings or better. The same bet can then be placed quickly using the ‘Rebet’ button or players can change the bet amount before playing another round.

Five Hand Joker Poker has coin sizes ranging from $0.02 up to $20 and it is possible to bet up to five coins on each hand. This means that the maximum bet per round is $500 and the minimum is $0.10. Players win payouts in proportion to how many coins they bet on a hand and how strong the hand is. With one coin bet Kings or Better and Two Pairs both pay out 1 coin, Three of a Kind pays out 2 coins, a Straight pays out 3 coins, a Flush pays out 5 coins, a Full House pays out 7 coins, Four of a Kind pays out 15 coins, a Straight Flush pays out 50 coins, a Wild Royal Flush pays out 100 coins, Five of a Kind pays out 200 coins and a Natural Royal Flush pays out 250 coins. These payouts are then multiplied by the number of coins bet on a hand, so a Straight Flush with two coins bet pays out 100 coins. The only exception is a Natural Royal Flush which will pay out 4000 coins when five coins are bet.

After any winning hand players can play a mini game to try and double their payout. Five cards are dealt, one face up and the rest face down. Players then need to pick from the face down cards to try and find one that is higher in value than the face up card. If players pick correctly then the payout will be doubled and they can try again. However, one incorrect pick results in all winnings being lost from that particular round. In addition to this there is also the chance to win a progressive jackpot. The jackpot is awarded at random and can even be won after a losing hand.
