Immortal Ways® Champions is an Olympics-inspired online slot honoring the vintage Olympic Games. As you know, it’s an international event taking place every 4 years, so it’s a very big deal in the world of sport (any sport, truly). Rubyplay did everything in their power to create a unique game that’s not very common. Sure, it’s nothing revolutionary for Rubyplay standards, but it’s quite cool compared to games from other providers.

In Immortal Ways Champions, the game starts with a 6-reel grid. The number of rows is 5 in total, but the four central reels (2,3, 4, and 5) are special as they form 2 entities Immortal Arrays. The left Immortal Array is comprised of Reel 2 and 3, while reels 4 and 5 are the right Immortal Array.  These are special as they may contain prizes and better rewards, but for the most part, they act as regular reels together with reels 1 and 6. These two have 4 rows, while the Immortal Arrays have 5 rows each.

When you start the game, you first select the wager amount (you can bet anything from $0.25 to $50 per spin) and watch as the grid rolls to reveal the outcome. If you want to speed up things, turn on Auto Play or Turbo Play.

In total, the game allows you to play with up to 10,000 ways to win, but that does not mean wins come by easily. The game has medium volatility and a 96.28% RTP, which is excellent and pairs well with the 44.18% hit frequency.

If you decide to place wagers in Immortal Ways® Champions, you can bet anything from $0.25 to $50 per spin. The betting range is not that versatile but still gives players room for experiments if they decide to join the game. Game icons include card royals Q, K, and A that pay from 0.04x for 3 OAK to 0.16x for 5 OAK.  Other icons that have actually worthy payouts are the athletes. We have a gymnast, a boxer, a weightlifter, and a runner paying from 0.20x to 0.28x for 6 OAK. Lastly, a javelin thrower and swimmer pay 0.32x and 0.40x for 6 OAK.

Immortal Ways® Champions is a very busy slot. There’s lots of boosters, features, and perks to get when you start playing the game with bonus symbols. There’s Wild and Scatter, as well as Coin Symbols that land on the Immortal Arrays (both left and right). Hence, we’ll talk a bit about Immortal Arrays, the Coin Wheel awarding Jackpots, and Free Spins.

Immortal Arrays

Reels 2 and 3 are left Immortal Arrays, while reels 4 and 5 are the right Immortal Arrays.  On any given spin, Coins containing a prize value, or the Coin Wheel symbol may appear on the arrays. A Coin Wheel triggers the Prize Wheel, while Coins remain on the grid for 3 Spins. Whenever you get an extra Coin, the counter for Coins resets to 3. If you manage to fill the entire Array with Coins in those 3 Spins, you get a massive payout. If not, they go away.

If you get a Coin Wheel, you trigger the Prize Wheel on either reel 1 or 6 (depending on which Array the wheel lands). The goal is to land the Collect Coin or complete the entire Array with Coins – this means the Array is won and you get a massive payout. When you win Coins on the Array, they disappear from the grid and cannot be won again/more than once.

Coin Wheel & Prizes

The Coin Wheel triggers a prize wheel spin. This spin may produce either a jackpot, a Coin with prize value, a Multiplier, or the Collect icon.

If it’s a jackpot, you get one of four jackpots – Mini, Minor, Major, or Grand. You will see which one you’ve won right away. If it’s a coin with a prize, the prize is placed on the grid where the wheel was, and you reset the counter to 3 to hopefully get more coins and bigger prizes.

You might also get a Multiplier. Possible Multiplier values are 2x, 3x, 4x, 5x, 6x, or 7x. Lastly, there’s the Collect icon, which collects all Coin prizes available on the grid at the moment. The values of Coins range from 0.80x to 14x.

Free Spins

Scatters are paying icons awarding Free Spins. On each round, you may land 3 or more Scatters on the Arrays which gives you 8 Spins and new, fresh Immortal Arrays. You can also retrigger the feature with 3 extra Scatters (or more) during the round. During Free Spins, coins landing in the Arrays remain there until the end of the feature, giving you a better chance of winning the Immortal Ways.
