Gonzos Quest

The year is 1541 and Spanish conquistador has reached the cost of Peru, where he is on a quest for gold. However, one of his crew members sneaks out at night to try and embark on his own search for the lost city of Eldorado and he indeed seems to have found the settlement that is reportedly packed with gold. Help the likeable Gonzo succeed in his quest and he will let you take some of the gold home with you since there is only so match he can carry on his own.

Before you start playing Gonzo’s Quest: The Search for Eldorado, it might be wise to determine the size of your total bet and check paytable to see what to expect regarding extra features and payouts on regular symbols. Use bet level and coin value to increase/decrease your stake and press spin, max bet or autoplay to start.

Question Mark acts as Wild, substituting for all game symbols without exceptions, which can come in handy when you need to trigger the Free Falls round. Free Fall icons are used to unlock the only bonus round, with three of these required to activate the feature.

A decent amount of betting options is on offer, with $0.01, $0.02, $0.05, $0.10, $0.20, $0.50, $1 and $2 available coin denominations. Fixed 20 paylines are always selected and this amount cannot be changed, but gamers can further increase their wager by selecting 1, 2, 3, 4 or 5 coins per line. Amounts shown in paytable will be multiplied by your bet level.

Seeing as how all payouts can be multiplied by up to 5x in the main game and 15x during Free Falls, regular game icons offer pretty impressive rewards. A blue artefact is the highest paying icon, paying out up to 12,500 credits for five matching symbols on an active payline.

A selection of seven artefacts or symbols carved in stone represent the non-feature icons, whilst Question Mark Wild and Free Fall symbol complete the list of symbols appearing on the game screen. The main character surprisingly does not occur on the reels, but he goes the extra mile to root for players next to the game board.

The Avalanche feature is available during both main game and Free Falls and it leads to staggering rewards. Each winning spin sees the symbols that formed the winning combination explode, allowing other icons to fall in their place, while increasing the multiplier located above the reels. Multipliers keep increasing until 5x as long as winning combinations keep occurring before restarting at 1x following a non winning spin.

Three Free Fall symbols on an active payline left to right unlock ten Free Falls. During the feature all Avalanche multipliers are increased, with subsequent wins multiplied by 3x, 6x, 9x and 15x respectively.

Gonzo’s Quest Touch may have entered the mobile gaming market in 2012, but the wait was well worth it.
