We love the looks and appearance of this slot. Betsoft really brought out the charm factor on this one. The background is an alchemist’s laboratory, something you’d expect to find. The music is equally cheery and gothic at the same time, helping to sell the game’s goofy theme. The monster and the doctor both cheer you on from the side of the reel, occasionally making some noise and interacting with each other in a hilarious manner.

And while graphics look nice, the gameplay is a lot more conservative than usual. Frankenslot’s Monster plays with 5 reels and 20 paylines, and uses Wilds and Scatters to entice the player. Unlike their previous release, Sin City Nights, there are no Exploding Symbols to spice up how the slot plays.

And much like before, Betsoft’sAutoplay feature leaves things to be desired. The lack of win and loss limits is apparent, and quite annoying, considering other games have already implemented such systems. It is a few points off an otherwise fun slot, but nothing too serious.

Frankenslot’s Monster may not play that differently from most other games, but it does succeed in making you feel properly rewarded. Scatters are here this time around, and they’re delightfully easier to get than usual. While you probably won’t be chaining free spins, we had luck to have them appear more often than usual. They appear on the second, third and fourth reel, grant 8 free spins when they appear, and the special feature can be retriggered.
Wilds in Frankenslot’s Monster don’t have any special effects tied to them. They are the highest paying symbol in the game, effectively acting as a quasi-jackpot if you get five of them. They can also replace any icon except for Scatters and Bonus symbols, which increases their value as well.

As for Bonuses, it honestly is a bit underwhelming. Bonus Round icons can appear on the first, third and fifth reel. Within the special feature, you taken to a panel in which you press around some switches, before throwing the handle and watching the electricity course through. A great thematic moment, but nothing really exciting gameplay wise.
