When you have been around for as long as RTG has, you are bound to have just about every casino game under your belt. With that kind of experience, anything you touch is bound to turn to gold! Their baccarat table certainly seems to confirm this theory, delivering fun gameplay and awesome visuals in equal measure.

It is worth highlighting that this is an RNG powered table. There may not be any live dealers, but this release makes up for it in other ways. The convenience it offers is incredible, and the animations are top notch. They are detailed and fast paced.

First things first, we have to set up our wagers. Unlike most other tables, RTG’s Baccarat requires you to select one of the three main bets first. You do this by clicking the corresponding field on the table. Only after you do this do the coins become selectable. Pick the one you want, and place it on whichever field you want. There are no restrictions here. You can place coins on all three bets if you want!

There is no timer, so feel free to take your time placing the bets just the way you like them. When you finish, press the deal button. The computer will draw two cards for the player and banker hands. The side that is closest to an eight or nine will be declared the winner. Any card above the value of nine is worth zero points.

If a winner is not immediately determined, a third card will be drawn. Player hands will always draw a third card if their score is five or less. Meanwhile, banker hands only draw their third card if the player has drawn theirs. The history tab on the side keeps track of the last few rounds played and their results. You can use this to help you find and chase patterns.

Due to RTG Baccarat’s design, banker hands are more likely to win. As a result, the developer had to decrease the payout awarded by the banker hand when won. This is the 5% commission, applied to all banker bet wins. It means you will receive a 0.95:1 payout instead of a standard even money win.

If you do not want to deal with this extra cost, you can always wager on the player hand winning. That allows you to win less often, but each win will be a full 1:1 payout! If you enjoy taking risks, you can also bet on the result being a tie. Unlike most tables, tie bets pay 9:1 here! That is more than the standard 8:1 we see elsewhere.

Sadly, there are no side bets in this release. This is not a major issue, but it will be disappointing for punters who enjoy them.
