Baccarat is a game many players enjoy. It is a simpler title than most other card games. At the same time, it still offers a fantastic RTP few other releases can match! If you are looking to play baccarat without the pressure of timers, then we recommend Microgaming’s version. There are no tricks or gimmicks here. Just good old baccarat!

This is an RNG-powered table, meaning there are no live dealers. Instead, the entire table is yours to play around with as you see fit. The animations are well done. However, there is no way to speed them up. All gameplay is handled exclusively through the user interface.

When you first launch this release, you will be prompted to place your bet. You do this by clicking the plus and minus buttons, which shuffled through all available coin values. When you find one that suits you, you select either the Player, Banker or Tie option. Since this is a single player table, you can take as long as you like to place a wager. No timers here!

After making your choice, the game will draw one card at a time, until both player and banker have two. To win, the hand you bet on has to get as close to eight or nine without going over. Any cards that have a value greater than nine are worth zero points.

If neither side gets an eight or nine naturally, third cards may be drawn. Players will only draw a third card if their hand has a value of five or less. Meanwhile, banker third cards are drawn depending on their own hand and what the player’s third card is. Unfortunately, there is no easy way to keep track of previous wins.

Banker bets have the highest chance of winning. As a result, all banker bet wins have a 5% commission applied to them. This means instead of getting even money, banker bet wins receive a 0.95:1 prize instead. Not a huge deal, but worth keeping in mind.

Meanwhile, wagering on the player hand has a slightly lower chance of winning. As a result, you receive the full 1:1 payout if you win that bet. Your final option is the Tie bet, which is unlike to occur. If you correctly guess a Tie, you will receive an 8:1 reward.

Unlike many other tables, Microgaming’s Baccarat does not have any available side bets. We do not think this is a bad thing in itself. After all, without side bets, punters are free to focus on the main game and its high house edge. Ultimately, whether or not this is a deal breaker for you depends on how often you play side bets in baccarat.
