10’s or Better by Betsoft

Experienced punters will know of the classic video poker game called Jacks or Better. That said, there are other variants of this fun release. One of them is called 10’s or Better. While the two are nigh on identical, in this one, we use tens instead of jacks to award the smallest prize.

The results of each round is determined using a random number generator. There are no time limits for setting up your wagers, which is one of the benefits of playing single player games! Another advantage is the ability to skip past animations! To do so, just set your game speed to maximum. Not that we would recommend it, given how nice they look.

Before you can enjoy a round of video poker, you need to set your bets first. You do this by selecting your coin value and the number of active coins. You choose your coin value by clicking the choose coin button. Meanwhile, you set the number of active coins by pressing the Bet One button. How many coins you have active is highlighted on the paytable.

After you finish wagering, press the Deal button to draw five cards. The goal is to form a winning combination using some of these cards. You have the ability to choose any of the currently drawn cards and keep them. Cards you do not keep are discarded, and will be replaced with new ones.

This new five-card combination is then checked against the paytable. If your hand matches up to one of the card combinations in the paytable, then you win the round. That said, not all winning combinations offer the same rewards.

You are not playing against a dealer or other players. The only goal is to scoring the best possible winning hand to maximize your prize! You can also increase how much it will pay by increasing your coin value and the number of coins played.

Assuming you play with the lowest possible bet and just one coin, the lowest possible win is worth one coin for scoring Tens or Better. Meanwhile, playing with five coins and scoring a Royal Flush will reward you with a 4000 coin top prize.

Each win offers you an opportunity to accept a Gamble. You are allowed to pick between four face down cards. If your chosen card has a higher value than card currently sitting face up, you win the Gamble! Winning the gamble means your current win is doubled. You can play several consecutive gambles, assuming you keep winning. A gamble loss means you lose everything you have won.
