One of the leading names in the game development industry, Pragmatic Play, has recently announced its plans to buy Extreme Live Gaming from Novomatic Group for an undisclosed amount.
Extreme Live Gaming is licensed by Malta Gaming Authority and the UK Gambling Commission, and it provides live dealer games from its studios located in London.
Novomatic, an Austrian multi-national gambling company, acquired Extreme Live Gaming back in 2014.
Expanding Its Portfolio
This move will surely help Pragmatic Play to further expand its portfolio, and continue its commercial expansion.
Pragmatic Play is already a leading online casino brand, having so far signed portfolio integration deals with names such as The Rank Group, Mr. Green, Lottoland and GVC Holding.
Extreme Live Gaming operates a total of 10 tables, including roulette, blackjack, and baccarat.
Chief Commercial Officer at Pragmatic Play, Melissa Summerfield said the name Extreme Live Gaming stood for quality and innovation and added they were delighted to enhance the company’s multi-vertical gaming strategy with this acquisition, further cementing their position as a leading industry provider.
Summerfield pointed out the popularity of live casino had grown hugely in recent years, and the vertical held a great deal of potential.

Taking Business to the Next Level
Pragmatic Play will incorporate Extreme Live's titles in its portfolio, including Golden Ball, Reel Roulette and Roulette 360. Apart from that, two developers will together create a cross-over dynamics between the flagship games and Extreme Live's content.
Chief Executive Officer of Extreme Live Gaming, Darwyn Palenzuela noted the company was proud of providing ground-breaking live solutions both popular with players and profitable for their partners.
