This $110 million project started just 2 years ago in October of 2013 and has finally reached its climatic finish. The Cherokee officials project that it will bring over 4 million new people to the area making it one of the biggest new attractions to the state. It will house over 1000 employees and have 70 card tables available for weekly use along with 1000 slot machines to occupy the non-card players in the area. The casino project will be a major push for local businesses and patrons. The new casino will help the economy thrive and bring tons of out of state business.
