World-famous software provider Betsoft Gaming has announced its latest video slot game, a fantasy-themed release titled Ogre Empire.
The game is set in a fairytale kingdom, once known for its wealth, but now suffering because of an ogre chasing away traders.
A Unique Day/Night Cycle
Players will need to show some serious skills and sneak wins past the grumpy ogre, with handsome rewards for those who manage to do so.
This five-reel three-row game with 25 paylines has a unique feature: it operates according to a day/night cycle, with different sets of symbols in play and multipliers on offer during different times.
During the day, citizens are away from the streets, and you’ll see the ogre at the market square, swinging his club from time to time, activating a cascade of symbols. The symbols during the day include toadstools, gemstones, and gold coins, as well as royals engraved on windows.
When the sun goes down, the ogre will go to sleep, allowing the city’s residents to go out on the streets. The king and queen will become the game’s top-paying symbols, joined by a joker serving as the Wild. But that’s not all since all winnings will be doubled!
Plenty of Excitement
Aside from the stunning visuals, top-notch animations, and mesmerizing story, the game will give different winning options, which will differ depending on what time of the day it is. During the daytime, wins will pay out up to 4 times the total stake, while those wins achieved during the night can go up to six times.
Even the Wilds will behave differently. While the sun is up, the Sun Bloom spreading Wild will appear on the reels, expanding to up to three adjacent symbols, turning them into Wilds. During the night, the Night Bloom Wild takes its place, with the ability to spread to anywhere on the grid.
