At the turn of the century, some 13 years ago now, online gaming and online casinos were something that many people had never heard of, let alone participate in. Now as we enter the fourth month of 2013 the world of online gaming is a multi million dollar business and players can literally play their favourite games from anywhere in the world.
Poker for instance is one game that has seen a dramatic increase in numbers over the years, so much so that many live poker events are now actually streamed live direct to players desktops so they can watch the latest action unfold in the comfort of their own homes. 888 Holdings are one company that has risen up the ranks in recent years, and only last month they announced a deal to provide their poker software to Caesars Interactive Entertainment. Now they have announced a deal in conjunction with Caesars Interactive Entertainment to become the main TV sponsor for this years World Series of Poker Europe (WSOPE) and World Series of Poker Asia Pacific.
The World Series of Poker Asia Pacific gets under way this coming Thursday, from the Crown casino in Melbourne Australia, and you can catch all the main action courtesy of 888Poker.tv. Viewers will be able to watch all the main bracelet action, including the eagerly anticipated Caesars Cup Team Event, an event that sees the games elite players from America, Europe and Asia competing against each other.
The WSOPE starts in October later this year and is being held in Paris, France, and again all the action will be streamed live on 888Poker.tv. Thirteen years ago the WSOP Main Event attracted just 512 players, and last year nearly 13 times that amount, 6,598 took part. Thirteen years ago the WSOPE didn't even exist, in fact it was first held in 2007, and now in 2013 you can watch all the latest live poker action on your laptop computer or tablet from anywhere in the world! The world is evolving faster than ever it seems and 888Holdings are one company that is embracing the change.
