Sin City Nights Slots

Lights all around you, cameras flashing, the sound of laughter and the ringing of slot machines in the distance. A city in which every vice is served on a platter, and where thousands flock with dreams of getting lucky and winning massive amounts of money. Las Vegas fills the minds of many, being the gambling capitol of the world, and while you may not be able to afford to travel to the real thing, Betsoft has the next best thing. With 5 reels and 25 paylines, discover exploding symbols and increasing multipliers, free spins out of this world, and Wilds worthy of Las Vegas itself!

How to Play

We won’t lie, we love the look of this game. It’s bright, flashing, reels fall down in a unique, blocky fashion, and thanks to the well done sound effect design, it really feels like they have some weight to them. The background music is also great, and we wouldn’t mind an extended version of it to listen in our spare time! That said, the greeter girl just looks weird to us, despite the fact her animations are top notch. She almost comes off like a stick figure with a creepy grin plastered on her face staring you down the entire time. For gameplay, Betsoft’s release tries something different. It has 5 reels and 25 paylines, and on top of this, we see the inclusion of Exploding icons, which works great to chain wins together. And while there is a noticeable lack of Scatters, the slot still has a free spins feature you can activate, as well as Wilds that appear in the nick of time to save the day. The Autoplay in Sin City Nights is nothing to write home about. While perfectly competent, it lacks some options that really should be baseline by now. When compared to certain other developers, the game falls behind in this aspect, something we hope to see corrected in future titles.

Betting Options and Payout

The slot does what it does best when you play it in a casual manner. While it hosts a myriad of special features, they tend to be difficult to actually activate. Despite the presence of Exploding Symbols, we have rarely seen their increased multipliers, and due to how it is designed, free spins are tough to trigger. It’s not all bad, however. The wide betting range should be appealing, as you can play for between $0.02 up to $125 per spin. Small wins come often, and big wins feel worth waiting for. The jackpot is also quite lovely, but you will need a lot of luck even trying to get close to it.

Symbols and Extra Features

It wouldn’t be Las Vegas if there wasn’t gambling going on. For once, we can say using gambling symbols was justified! You will find J, Q, K and A lit up with neon lights, sharing the reels alongside cherries, a bell, and a bright lucky seven! You won’t find any Scatters hiding. Instead, the free spins icon took its place. This particular special feature is a pain to activate, as it needs three Scatters to appear on a winning payline. For only ten bonus games, this honestly feels like it’s a bit too much effort, but it balances out when you consider other goodies Betsoft added. Goodies like Wilds! While they have no numerical value themselves, Wilds appear on the second, third and fourth reels and are usually there to save the day. To also offset the slight imbalance, Wilds can replace any symbol on the playing field, including the free spins one, which is a rarity to see in slots. Finally, Exploding Icons can change the gameplay drastically. It grants you an increased multiplier after each consecutive win, and resets after you get no more wins at once. It can be great for getting lots of cash, but we sadly had little luck with it.

Our Verdict

There are a few odd choices in design, but on the overall, Sin City Nights made us want to come back for more. Love it or hate it, it is a great game, and a wonderful release by Betsoft. If you’re in the mood for some Las Vegas action, try it out and see how lucky you are. Maybe you’ll be the one to take home the jackpot and see the real city of sin when you win!
