William Hill have a long standing tradition as one of the leading bookmakers and sports betting companies in the United Kingdom. Their online gaming isn't bad either as they recently signed an agreement with Bally Technologies to showcase their range of slots. They have now signed an agreement with Microgaming too, a deal that will see Microgaming provide Hills with its Quickfire flash based mobile online casino and soft games platforms.
Director of Gaming at William Hill is James Curwen and he is looking forward to working with Microgaming. In a statement released earlier this week he said, “The agreement with Quickfire, powered by Microgaming, will provide our players with world-class gaming content. Microgaming’s expertise in the industry and its rapid development of new content will strengthen our position globally, we look forward to working with them closely.”
Microgaming's CEO is Roger Raatgever and he is “thrilled” that his company are to be associated with William Hill. He said, “William Hill is a giant in the world of online gaming, highly recognisable and respectable. Naturally we are thrilled to include it on our list of customers. We are confident that the collaboration between Microgaming and William Hill will prove fruitful for both parties and go from strength to strength.”
William Hill are already leading the way when it comes to online gaming in the UK, and now they have teamed up with Microgaming as well they look set to strengthen their position at the top of the tree even further.
