US-based computerized gaming equipment manufacturer International Game Technology has cut a deal with Golden Acorn Casino and Travel Center. They will be providing the California-based firm with an online casino application through their Double Down Interactive subsidiary.
IGT had purchased Double Down Interactive in January and had revealed that Golden Acorn will be using the technology to offer their customers with free-play experiences. Eric Tom, Global Sales Executive Vice-President, reportedly said that Golden Acorn has realized the opportunity of providing the gaming world with entertainment across many channels.
This partnership will allow both parties to grab the opportunity as the trends of gaming are evolving from time to time. As the landscape of gaming changes, driving people towards engaging gameplay is basically what the Golden Acorn Casino brand really needs.
IGT stated that Golden Acorn will be using its own website to provide players with a “truly convergent gaming experience”. This includes access to “full casino-style offering of games in one convenient place”. In offering the same game titles on their website will give Golden Acorn the opportunity to deliver fun and engaging casino-style experiences to their players.
“This is an incredible chance to drive interactive slot culture to our players while allowing them to stay connected to our brand,” says David Baggerly, Marketing Director for Golden Acorn. Guests at the hotel will also be able to join online social versions of Texas Hold’em poker along with top-performing slot games by IGT. New games will be added automatically into the site.
